Carter’s Spectrum Golf Mentor Program 🏌️♂️A Unique Mentorship Experience Through Golf Carter’s Spectrum Golf, founded by 14-year-old golf prodigy and autism advocate Carter Bonas, combines golf instruction with structured mentorship to empower youth. Our program uses the game of golf as a vehicle to foster resilience, confidence, academic stability, and emotional well-being.
🎯 Mission: To foster self-confidence, leadership skills, and academic success among youth by combining golf, life skills training, and trauma-informed mentorship.

Mental Health Integration: Led by Dr. Thelma Tennie, LMFT, we incorporate therapeutic support and counseling referrals.
Peer and Family Engagement: Weekly Family Golf Days, youth-led leadership councils, and advisory boards ensure community voice and connection.
Holistic Life Skills Curriculum: Incorporates Evidenced Based Life skills model and evidence-based stress management techniques.
👥 Who We Serve: We mentor youth ages 6–21 from:

Single-parent households
Rural and suburban communities
Backgrounds with high risk of academic challenges, bullying, trauma, or juvenile justice involvement

One-on-One & Group Mentoring (4:1 ratio)
Weekly 90-Min Sessions blending golf with social-emotional learning
Monthly Family Golf Days + Quarterly Workshops: Coping with deployment, relocation, reintegration
Youth Leadership Council: Giving participants a voice and leadership role
Community Service Projects that build purpose and peer connection
