Thanks to the support of our generous donors, as of October 1, 2024, we have 75 young participants, ages 5 to 18, enrolled in our program. We’ve delivered over 760 hours of free golf lessons and provided 42 complete sets of golf equipment, including clubs, bags, balls, tees, shoes, towels, hats, visors, and apparel.

Beyond golf, we teach essential life lessons, coping skills, and core values that help our youth succeed both on and off the course.

Founded on March 1, 2022, Carter’s Spectrum Golf and Carter’s Spectrum Farm are initiatives under a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the healthy development of youth, families, and communities. Our mission is rooted in promoting wellness, resilience, and self-empowerment through the game of golf, hands-on gardening, and core values education.

At Carter’s Spectrum Golf, we provide motivational mentorship and foundational golf instruction tailored for at-risk, underserved, and vulnerable individuals, particularly those from minority, marginalized, and neurodiverse backgrounds. Participants receive coaching from PGA professionals and 14-year-old CEO Carter Bonas, whose lived experience and leadership inspire youth to develop confidence, discipline, and life skills on and off the course.

At Carter’s Spectrum Farm, we address health disparities by teaching youth how to grow their own food, understand nutrition, and embrace farm-to-table living. The farm model was developed by Carter as part of his own journey to reverse a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis through lifestyle change. Now, he’s sharing that journey to help others prevent and overcome similar health challenges.

Both programs are offered at no cost to families thanks to the generous support of grants, donors, and dedicated volunteers.
Since our founding, Carter’s Spectrum Golf and Farm have built strong partnerships with local schools, healthcare systems, municipals, parks and recreation departments, and faith-based organizations. These collaborations help us expand access to transformative experiences that nurture emotional wellness, educational growth, positive peer connections, and community engagement.

Together, Carter’s Spectrum Golf and Carter’s Spectrum Farm are becoming recognized leaders in holistic youth development, empowering the next generation to take control of their health, their choices, and their future with strength, purpose, and joy.
